Finally! I started recording the first song that I had written for the new CD, "Infinite Love & Gratitude", and I must say it's taking a different direction than the initial more folky offering, it now being acoustic + east-west dance groove, glad I waited …. Will try to post a clip in the near future.
For what might become the "title" track of the CD - Wondrous is the Sound- I've been processing & creating sounds into places & spaces I've never quite been before, within an emptiness that's full of sound…wondrous it is...yet it is so much work :), Starting as an instrumental piece- it has evolved into so much more , a Wahe Guru chant , with a "wondrous " english verse & sonic realization of sounds heard in a meditation ... might post a clip on the music/media page very soon...
A belated post and shout out here about our magical "mini-tour" to Norman OK last weekend. Both events we played at the Ashtanga Yoga Studio were fabulous , the class and kirtan concert and the service we were blessed to play at Morning Star Center for Spiritual Living was beautiful. Our hosts Andrew and Catie were incredI am so honored to have played with such a wonderful band .. Rica, Shanti , Grant and Bryce sittin' in (from Norman) -- incredible sounds one and all ! :>) ♥
